Training & Experience
Dr Simon Braham studied medicine at Monash University, graduating in 1990 with first-class honours. Dr Braham won the 1990 Alfred Hospital residents and graduates prize for achieving the highest marks in the Alfred hospital medical school.
Dr Braham was admitted to the accredited general surgery program in 1994 and completed his Royal Australian College of Surgeons Fellowship in ENT surgery in 1999.
He then undertook further studies in facial plastic surgery in New York and Boston. Returning to Melbourne, Simon commenced in private and public practice in 2001.
Dr Braham directed extensive research into the complex problem of nasal valve collapse and authored several papers on the efficacy of internal nasal valve collapse. He was a key inventor of the turbine medical device marketed by Rhinomed.
